Juliet Klottrup
Juliet Klottrup is an award-winning visual artist combining photography and filmmaking, based in the North West of England. Her practice has evolved into a modern archive of Northern life, marked by projects such as Youth of the Rural North and her most recent projects, Travelling Home and Skate Like a Lass.
Skate Like a Lass recorded inclusive female and LGBTQ+ established grassroots skateboarding communities in the North West UK — including documenting the Girls Only skate nights hosted by Big Woody's Skateboard Nights.
We're grateful to Juliet for taking the time to capture our sessions and for helping tell the wider story of these communities.
