Live Like Ralph

LiveLikeRalph (LLR) is a Community Interest Company founded in memory of Ralph Roberts, a talented skateboarder and graphic designer for Vans Shoes. Ralph was not only skilled on a board but was also known for his kindness, always helping others learn new tricks and making everyone feel welcome — especially during a time when skateboarding was still heavily male-dominated.

Ralph had a unique gift for bringing people together, supporting skaters of all ages and backgrounds. After his sudden passing, his family and friends established LLR to honour his legacy by continuing to foster the inclusive, supportive spirit he brought to the skateboarding community, particularly in the North West.

LLR raises funds and provides ongoing support for a variety of local skate initiatives, including Girls Night at Ramp City. LLR also helps build, repair and decorate skateparks, and supports events like International Women's Day and Ralphfest, an annual celebration of skateboarding each September.
